Brian O’Connell's work "Structural, Uncontrolled, Hollywood, Political, Auteur, Cosmic, Happy, Sad, and Ordinary", 2009 presents at first to be a film installation, it is, in fact, a monochrome painting. The artist began by installing a projector and turning it on without film. A color is then found to cancel out this projected light. After the space of the projection is painted out accordingly the room appears to return to "normal".
